Congratulations to our 2017 NLTTA 10 mile champions – Tom Rigby, Springfield Financial RT (20:14) and Charlotte Gorman, Team Lusso (23:55) … two cracking rides! Both runners up spots were taken by the 2016 defending champions – Stephen Irwin, North Lancs RC (20:20) and Debbie Moss, Chorley CC (24:28).
Thank you to the Nelson Wheelers for organising the event and allowing it to double up as the NLTTA championship ’10’.

We will be using a new course, L1017; see map above.
We have permission to have 150 riders – lets have another huge field!
Following on from a great series in 2016 won by Steve Irwin for the second time the provisional dates for 2017 are now on the website 2017 NLTTA Points Series
The subs for 2017 are due on the 1st January, please send your cheques to John Ward – see Contact Us page for details.
Please contact Jamie Carson through our contacts page if you feel your club should be on the list below. It is vital that all clubs who have riders who want to be counted for NLTTA awards affiliate with us ASAP otherwise people will not be eligable for a trophy come the end of the season. The cost is £15 per club but please contact us for more information.
The NLTTA are delighted to announce that the Guest of Honour at the 2016 NLTTA Awards Lunch will be James Gullen, Pedal Heaven.

As in previous years, there will be a ‘question and answer’ session during the afternoon. So let us have your questions for James. Please email them to email@example.com

We’re getting to the sharp end of the season and all is still to play for in the NLTTA points competition.
The Lancaster CC ’25’ on Sunday could be a key event.
Derek Parkinson, Springfield Financial, is currently in the lead on 951 points (from 8 events). Steve Irwin, North Lancs RC, on 837 points (from 7 events) and David Allonby, Springfield Financial, on 835 points (from 7 events) are sure to progress further up the standings with riders best 8 placings counting in the season long competition.
The team competition is even tighter with only 5 points separating the current leaders, Springfield Financial, from Preston Whs, 2,560 to 2,555.
The leading ladies are in 13th, 14th and 15th places overall with Carol Westmorland, Border City Wheelers, leading the way from Theresa Taylor, Preston CC, and Sue Cheetham, North Lancs RC, with 741, 731 and 711 points, respectively.
Unfortunately we have again had to cancel the Border City Wheelers Open ’50’ originally planned for 12th June and then rescheduled for 20th August, because of yet more roadworks on the A66, this time on the eastbound Bassenthwaite Lake section. These works commence on 8th August and will finish on the 20th.
The NLTTA Championship 50 will now be the Chester RC 50 on 4 September.
