Katie breaking records again!
Katie Lukas continues her impressive season with a new NLTTA ladies 10 mile record in a brilliant time of 21.16. This was done on the 18 August in the Wigan Whs event on Levens.
Katie beat Tanja Slater’s 2007 record by 3 seconds. Katie now holds the 10, 25 and 50 NLTTA records 👏
New NLTTA 50 records!
Congratulations to Richard Bickley, Border City Whs, and Katie Lukas, Beacon Whs, on their respective wins in the VC Cumbria 50 on Saturday, 4 August and both setting new 50 mile NLTTA records.
Richard’s ride of 1:42:18 was 39 seconds quicker than Steve Irwin’s 2017 record.
Katie’s awesome 1:57:05 took an amazing 5 minutes and 41 seconds of Charlotte Boothman’s record set earlier this season.
A quick mention for Phil Jones, Transition RT … Phil also broke the previous record, but started 10 minutes behind Richard so, unfortunately, his great time won’t figure in the NLTTA record books.
